Thank you for your interest in purchasing a membership for the virtual World Fantasy Convention 2020. Everyone attending the convention (including dealers, artists, and all program participants) or any of its events must have a valid membership. Additionally, purchase of a membership to Virtual World Fantasy Convention 2020 indicates your acceptance of and compliance with all convention policies. Please see the Policies page of this website for details.
WFC SLC 2020 reserves the right to refuse or refund memberships as it deems appropriate in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all members.
Virtual Attending Membership
A Virtual Attending Membership is for those who plan to participate in the online activities and programs of Virtual World Fantasy Convention 2020. Virtual members have access to all convention activities. Memberships purchased after 31 May 2020 include the ability to submit nominations for the World Fantasy Awards for 2021 and 2022.
Attending Membership Fee:
Fees will be processed in USD. Your chosen payment option (PayPal, Square, Cash App, Venmo, or your bank) will apply the official conversion rate on the day your transaction is processed by that institution.
A Supporting Membership is for someone who does not plan to participate in the online convention. Supporting Members will receive any physical items offered to Virtual Attending Members. Memberships purchased after 31 May 2020 include the ability to submit nominations for the World Fantasy Awards for 2021 and 2022.
Supporting Membership Fee:
Fees will be processed in USD. Your chosen payment option (PayPal, Square, Cash App or your bank) will apply the official conversion rate on the day your transaction is processed by that institution.
Whether you register online or by mail, you may choose from among several ways to pay for your Supporting or Virtual Attending Membership.
If you register online by clicking the button below, you will be prompted to complete a registration form. At the end of the form, you will see the following payment options:
Paypal: if you select this option, you will be redirected to the Paypal website where you may sign on and complete the payment. If you don't have a Paypal account, you can still use Paypal to process a secure credit card payment.
Manual Payment: Select this option if you wish to pay for your registration using the Cash App, Venmo, or by mailing a check. When you click the Manual Payment button, instructions for each type of payment will be displayed.
A Supporting Membership may be upgraded to a Virtual Attending Membership by paying $75 to bring the total to $125 (the price of a Virtual Attending Membership). Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions.
Refunds and Cancellations
Virtual Attending Memberships and Supporting Memberships are not refundable except in extraordinary circumstances. To request a refund, please email ChairGinny@wfc2020.org with an explanation of your request. Include your full name and your contact details.
(Note that memberships purchased prior to the the convention's transition to a virtual event were eligible for refunds until 30 July 2020. The expired refund policy is posted here for your reference. If you have experienced an extraordinary circumstance since 30 July 2020 that necessitates your cancellation please email ChairGInny@wfc2020.org.)
Transfers must be arranged between privately between a member and a non-member. When the transfer is finished please send us an email with the final data so that we can have the proper name on the badge when you arrive. This information needs to be emailed to email@example.com or mailed to:
